DSF Trophy 2025-26
Dates Announcing Soon
Dear Sports Enthusiasts,
We are delighted to inform you that the DSF Public Charitable Trust is organizing the Late Chait Singh Negi Memorial DSF T20 Cricket League Tournament this year. The key objectives and rules of the tournament are as follows:
- This cricket league is an effort to promote the young talent of Uttarakhand by providing them with a platform to showcase their skills. Only eight teams representing the eight mountain districts of Uttarakhand will participate namely, Pauri, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat, and Pithoragarh.
- Each team’s playing eleven will consist of seven players under the age of 25 and four players above 25. Each team will play three matches in their respective pools, and the top two teams from each pool will qualify for the finals.
- Since the primary objective of our Public Charitable Trust is to promote young players, the participation of older players will be further restricted in future editions of this tournament.
- Each district team must be sponsored by a corporate company from that district. This means the team will be owned and supported by that company. No individual or social organization will be allowed to sponsor a team.
- The branding of both the teams and their sponsoring companies will be reflected in the team jerseys along with the logo of the organizing trust. All registration and other applicable fees will also be borne by the sponsoring companies.
- Our core objective is to nurture talent. Therefore, instead of offering cash prizes, we will focus on providing high-quality facilities and opportunities to the winning and runner-up teams. These will include player refreshments, well-maintained grounds, professional-quality live telecast, proper dress code, and wide coverage in print and electronic media.
- The Trust will also maintain detailed performance records of players participating in the Chait Singh Negi Memorial T20 League. This database will assist franchise owners and selectors in choosing the best talent for their teams. Much like the IPL, we aim to build a strong platform for the budding players of Uttarakhand.
- The primary responsibility for players’ discipline, punctuality, conduct, and adherence to rules will rest with the team management and captain of each side.
Thank youÂ
